Shaniya Longino ’24 is majoring in CEAS and prospectively in Education Studies. She is from Atlanta, GA where she developed an interest in reading and writing fantasy stories as well as leading journaling sessions.
In high school, she participated in Mock Trial and public speaking competitions in which she won local, state, and national accolades. Now, Shaniya is a tutor for Wesleyan’s English Language Learners Tutor program, a mentor for Wesleyan’s First Things First program, College of East Asian Studies Major Committee member, and Writing Circle facilitator. Though she is busy with various activities, you can find her chilling in Usdan or on top of Foss Hill.
