A variant on our regular Focus Forums are our “Pop-Up Focus Forums.” These take less time and planning but still allow us to check in with the campus on important issues.
Here is how they work:
Choose & research a topic
We choose the issue we would like to explore after reviewing the pitches we receive.
We then design a set of 3 questions we will ask each student who participates in a pop- up.
Host the pop-up
We then set our team up at crucial passage points on campus, where we can catch students just walking by.
We invite students to spend 5 minutes speaking with us about our chosen topic. In return, we promise them a piece of swag.
The 5 minutes goes by quickly, and then our participants are on their way.
